1. Great Wall of China is so grand in its scale that it snakes its way through the People’s Republic, in various tangents, for more than 20,000 kilometres (12,425 miles). The Great Wall of China is a series of fortifications made of stone, brick, tamped earth, wood, and other materials, generally built along an east-to-west line across the historical northern borders of China to protect the Chinese states and empires against the raids and invasions of the various nomadic groups of the Eurasian Steppe.

Merry Christmas from Sassy P.

Merry Christmas from our family to yours. :) :)
As usual same day last year, we're celebrating Christmas just the two of us, so i only prepared food good for two. Christmas abroad is really different from Christmas at home. Christmas here is lonely just the two of us, unlike home there are a lot of relatives, singing, dancing eating until dawn. At home we're awake until 12 midnight and eat the foods we prepared. Here, its because just the two of us, its lonely to wait till midnight hahaha.

But still i am thankful for this Christmas as I am with the love of my life. Even if i am away from home, still okay. I will get used to it soon. I got homesick but its fine. :) :) It's funny that we are excited for the gifts and we already open it last week so we thought we dont have gifts to be open this Christmas. Lucky us some of our good friends give us some gifts, so we decided to open it tomorrow :) :)

Today i only prepared, prawns in garlic and butter, roasted chicken and baby potatoes. Thats all. We dont finished all, ugghh lot of leftovers even i only prepare a little. And ohh leche flan for dessert :P :P :P

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2017

The Beauty of Snow

Yes finally i experienced SNOW FOR THE FIRST TIME. It was so memorable for me because i been dreaming of snow my whole life lol. I came from the tropical country (Philippines) so of course we dont have snow. We only see snow in Television.

I experienced it here in England, in the place where snow is seldom (Oxfordshire). My friend is here for more than 4 years and this year was her first time to see snow like this and i am only here for 3 months. I am lucky hahaha. I was here last year same month but there was no snow and finally this year. Everybody enjoys it, not only me but even the people here was excited. By the way the snow was two weeks ago, still its so fresh on my mind.

The Snow was so beautiful, yes so cold but OMG its beautiful, how the surroundings turned into white. It looks so magical for me. We had snow fight and build a snowman also. Snow is beautiful but dangerous in the same time. The snow we had last for more than one week. It became ice and so slippery. The snow that melts become an ice. So dangerous. It's beautiful but dangerous.

Streets of Warwick | Street Photography

Its been a long time since we planned to visit Warwick to see the Warwick Castle, and last month November we went to the Castle for the dungeon tour. It was night time and its dark so we only just do the dungeon tour as its kind of useless to explore more because its night time. We planned to go back during day time and it happened last week. The weather is not cooperating that day, it was so gloomy and rainy, its not good to take photo the day light is not good but still we go and brought our camera with us.

After we finished exploring the castle, we still have time to go to the Streets of Warwick just near the Castle, it was 3pm and its really getting dark. Ohh well our opportunity to make a long exposure shots. So thats it we do the long exposure shots. Below are the photos i took  in the Streets of Warwick.

The Harry Potter Studio Tour Warner Bros. Studio December 2017

Yesterday we went to Warner Bros Studio to see and experience Harry Potter in the making. OMG if you are a Harry Potter fan, you should see it yourself. Its so amazing, everything they used in the film was displayed in there :)

View the youtube video below to see the tour.

Warwick Castle

The weather was not good it was gloomy and rainy. I dont think we can get a good photo with the weather like that, but since we planned for it, we went to. It was a cold day, i wore layers of clothes hahaha.
As you can see in the photos below its not that so lively it looks sad and dark hahaha

This was our second time in this Castle. We been here before but it was night time, it was a tour to the dungeon, a scary halloween. We only experience the dungeon that time because we were late. Late for looking a parking space. We dont have time to explore more of the castle. Its night time also and its dark. Anyways during this visit even its rainy but still at least day time. We went to the towers, OMG it was a long climb in a steep small step to each towers. My legs was so tired from it, before i reached to the top i was racing with my breath, I did not expect it. It looks like an easy climb from the outside it looks like not a tall tower. Well the climb was worth it to see the whole view of the castle. I must say its a must in visiting this castle, you have to climb to the tower.

There are a lots of peacocks roaming around the castle and a duck. We watched the bird show, but i did not have photo of it as it was raining during the show, its not really a rain but it can wet my camera, so i hide it inside my bag. It's a good show though.

A bit history of Warwick

Warwick Castle (/ˈwÉ’rɪk/WORR-ik) is a medieval castle developed from an original built by William the Conqueror in 1068. Warwick is the county town of Warwickshire, England, situated on a bend of the River Avon. The original wooden motte-and-bailey castle was rebuilt in stone in the 12th century. During the Hundred Years War, the facade opposite the town was refortified, resulting in one of the most recognisable examples of 14th century military architecture. It was used as a stronghold until the early 17th century, when it was granted to Sir Fulke Greville by James I in 1604. Greville converted it to a country house and it was owned by the Greville family, who became Earls of Warwick in 1759, until 1978 when it was bought by the Tussauds Group.

Durdle Door in Dorset England

One of the beautiful places we went to during our Weekend Roadtrip to Southwest England was this beautiful Durdle Door in Jurassic Coast. We were blessed to have a beautiful weather that day and got a beautiful sunset that makes the Durdle Door more enchanting. I only seen a beautiful photos of this place on Instagram before, and now I am having it on my page and photos were taken by yours truly.

It was truly amazing to be there. We were just right on time for sunset. This place will closed at 4pm and we arrived there past 4pm so we were not allowed to enter and instead the guard told us to park our car from far. We walked like 20 mins to get closer to this beautiful door. The long walk was all worth it. Seeing a beautiful scenery like this makes me happy.

Seeing this for the first time was magical. How i wish to stay longer but it gets dark so fast, there is no lights in there its located at the edge of the land.

MY GOOGLE ADSENSE EARNINGS

I AM SMILING FOR HAPPINESS AS I AM WRITING THIS POST.

I started my blog four years ago, you can read it here on how i started. But i was approved by adsense two years ago. I really dont know how adsense work that time and i am also having a full time job. I just put a lot of ads on my blog not knowing the outcome. Fast forward I resigned from my job and went to the UK as a tourist Visa. I am jobless for more than a year now and no income coming. Just recently August 2017 that i go and search about adsense on blogs, how it works and anything. I dont have money to buy and subscribed paid subscription to drive traffic to my blog. I only do share it to my social medias TwitterInstagramFacebookPinterest and Google Plus. It takes a lot of hardworks lol. Sharing it over and over again, browsing net almost all day how to drive traffic to my blog. After a month it was September i saw that my earnings went up, it went up to like 50USD in a month. (well by the way since i was approved by adsense till August 2017 i only have like 25USD of earnings for two years) woahhhh two years.

By the end of October my earnings was like 140USD and yay i reached my threshold hahaha. I dont know how to withdraw it, i choose the option wire transfer, put my bank account details and etc. I am hopeless at the beginning of November because i heard nothing from adsense, if they are going to transfer it right away or not. It's my first time and i know nothing, of course i do some searching and info's about it. I just wait and wait and wait. While walking at the park last November 21 i receive an email from adsense. I was like OMG my first earning my very first earning. I checked my bank right away and of course it's not there yet. I am just very excited.

Old Harry Rocks - England

Well this place was the second place we went to during our Roadtrip to Southwest England. We walk like thirty minutes from the parking to get there. We were just so lucky that it has a very good sunny weather that day. It was still cold and so windy but atleast it was sunny, the long walk was enjoyable. hehe

The old Harry Rocks. OMG this place is really cool. It's so beautiful, the white cliffs is just stunning. I been to White Cliffs of Dover before but this Old Harry Rocks for me is amazing, both scary as usual but just OMG OMG very beautiful, how the cliffs form like that. It's not just plain cliff, it has its own beauty and structure.

Old Harry Rocks are three chalk formations, including a stack and a stump, located at Handfast Point, on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset, southern England. They mark the most easterly point of the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The chalk of Old Harry Rocks used to be part of a long stretch of chalk between Purbeck and the Isle of Wight, but remained as a headland after large parts of this seam were eroded away. As the headland suffered hydraulic action (a process in which air and water are forced into small cracks by the force of the sea, resulting in enlarging cracks), first caves, then arches formed. The tops of the arches collapsed after being weakened by rainfall and wind, leaving disconnected stacks. One of these stacks is known as Old Harry. Old Harry's Wife was another stack which was eroded through corrosion and abrasion, until the bottom was so weak the top fell away, leaving a stump. Hydraulic action is the main cause of erosion (sheer force of the wave) that damaged the rock and caused it to fall away. (Wikipedia)

Below are the photos i took.

Roadtrip to Southwest England - Corfe Castle

It's been a long time since we planned to go roadtrip to Cornwall to see St. Michael, but sad to say about week before our planned date St. Michael was closed and will be opened next year 2018. We decided to still go for a roadtrip but to see Old Harry Rocks, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, along the way we saw this ruin at the top of the hill, we cant resist we had to check it out. It was the ruins of Corfe Castle. It was a beautiful ruins, the entrance was a lil bit expensive but for us its all worth it, as we are Castle Sucker hahaha we spent like 2 hours in there before we head to Old Harry Rocks.

Below are the photos i took in the Corfe Castle.

Moon Photography

Last Sunday night, we went out to see fireworks and planned to take photos, but fireworks are everywhere and its far from where we are. By the way its 5th of November and its Guy Fawkes Night its basically known as also Guy Fawkes DayBonfire Night and Firework Night, is an annual commemoration observed on 5 November, primarily in Great Britain. Its history begins with the events of 5 November 1605, when Guy Fawkes, a member of the Gunpowder Plot, was arrested while guarding explosives the plotters had placed beneath the House of Lords. Celebrating the fact that King James I had survived the attempt on his life, people lit bonfires around London; and months later, the introduction of the Observance of 5th November Act enforced an annual public day of thanksgiving for the plot's failure.

The full moon was 4th of November but the moon is still huge. The moon was a little bit up but its okay, they said that the best time to take photo of the moon was when its about to rise but we were late. So even if its still up already we still took photos and we used a big lens, long lens hahaha.

This is the photos i took, It was my first time and i am happy with it. I know its not perfect but its still look great for me. I cant wait for another full moon next month to get a better photo of the moon.

Its beautiful right? I love photography even more.I only saw photos like this on the books and in the internet. And now i am seeing my own photo, my own work.

Waddesdon Manor

Waddesdon Manor - is a country house in the village of Waddesdon, in Buckinghamshire, England. It is located in the Aylesbury Vale, 6.6 miles west of Aylesbury. - Wiki

It was my first time to be there. It was windy and rainy and ofcourse cold. As soon as we arrived in the parking, i was like this is it? Hubby said nahh wait for it hahaha be patient lol. We paid for the entrance and wait for service who will transport us to different attractions inside the manor.

The Manor is so beautiful, a huge lush of greens in the surroundings, trees, flowers are just so beautiful. I want to explore more, i want to go around but trust me it was so windy due to hurricane coming that day. Hurricane is not in that place though, its somewhere in Ireland but still affected by the strong wind, and some areas were closed because of the falling branches of the big trees.

Inside the house or palace was stunning its more on french touch most of the displays are came from France. When inside you seems like transported to France. I never been into France but i saw pictures of France and the tour guide said that most of the porcelains and the arts, and everything inside in that house is from France. See for yourself below :)

Seeing this place made me remember of some fantasy movies and royalty movies and princesses movies hehe
Waddesdon Manor
This is the first stop and this is just in the front of the manor

looks like in the set of beauty and the beast hihi

Waddesdon Manor

Magical waddesdon

Ohh i love this place, how i wish i can come back here on summer and have a picnic on the ground, wearing shorts and sleeveless and lying down with book in my hand under the sun.

Ohh i heard York is beautiful too, I cant wait to explore the place. I already have an idea where to go and what to do thank you Wandermust Family for the guide and the itinerary. It's easier for us now.

Chocolate Hills, Philippines

CHOCOLATE HILLS
You maybe wondering why is it called as Chocolate when its clearly a green hills. Well these hills will turn into brown or chocolate like during summer time. During our visit just recently first week of October it was raining, and during this month summer is over, its a rainy season so the grass and trees are blooming and so green, still beautiful though. Actually it was raining when we went there, it was a fine day when we arrive, we even do the ATV or Buggy and after ATV we went to the viewing deck of Chocolate Hills, it was scorching hot. But when we are about to leave the sky get dark and when we arrive in the tarsier, it was raining so hard and tarsiers hiding :( we didn't clearly see tarsier. We left sad hehe and when we arrive in the manmade forest, it was so dark and its raining so hard. We dont have picture of manmade also :( so sad.

Anyways i am really from here, from Bohol. I was born and raised in Carmen Bohol where the Chocolate Hills located, but it was a long time since the last time I was here. I left Bohol after high school graduation to pursue my dreams. I only go back here once in a blue moon hahaha once a year or once every two years. I was so happy to be back here together with my husband and his friend and now my friends too :D :D :) It brings back memories, childhood memories and i was glad that my since birth BFF come to choco to see us.

Its my pleasure to share with you one of Bohol's beautiful tourist attraction, one of Bohol's Gem the CHOCOLATE HILLS. See the photos below :) :)

Cogges Manor Farm

I admire people who has a great talent on photography thing. I love taking photos ever since, but great cameras are expensive. Before, I am only using my android phone in taking photos and stored like a thousands of photos in my phone. Now got the chance to have a nice camera, i never waste a time to explore it, go out outside and took photos to anything. Even such a small things, trees, flowers or just anything i saw outside.

The subjects i love the most in my photography is the nature, I just want to take photos in the surroundings but when i saw a good subject even not a nature i still do took photos like the street, (Street Photography)

I also like to explore lot of things in the world of Photography, i recently tried the Long Exposure, I love it also it gives a different scene hehe, but that one is so tricky and needs a lot of experiment and learning. I cant do it on daytime like the running water or cascading water. I tried it once but it did not work out.

Last week we went to an A Farm, to see an apples, because they have an apple trees and they had an event focusing on apples. Its a childhood dream of mine to see an apple tree with an apple fruit. hahaha Well i was so happy to see it. Childhood dream come true indeed.

Not only apples are there in the Farm, there are a lot. Ohh the flowers OMG so beautiful, it feels like you're in a paradise. It was beautiful out there. Below are the photos i took during the visit.

A Day Tour in Cebu City Itinerary

We went to Cebu City for three days, we stayed at Waterfront Hotel in Lahug Cebu City. We had a lot of plans where to go during our stay, we include Bohol and since we only had three days so the plan was: First Day - Oslob Cebu City Day Tour, Second Day- Cebu City, City tour, Third Day- Bohol Day Tour.

First Day: Oslob Cebu Day Tour

Woke up early in the morning as we were going to leave the City at as early as 4:30am. We rent a car and a driver as well.

First stop was a light breakfast in Oslob just near to the Whale Shark Watching point.

Photography - Long Exposure

Photography ohh photography. Ever since i really want to know even basic on photography, i just love taking photos. I learned something new :) :) the long exposure. Now long exposure is kind of my thing, i love how it turns out beautiful, but a lot of things to consider in long exposure. I still want to learn. Below are the first long exposure i took in the busy street in Mall of Asia and in the Mall of Asia Bay Area!

Mall Of Asia

Tumalog Falls - Oslob Cebu

September was really a busy month for me. I did not had enough time to update this blog, glad September was over. hahaha

Last week we went to Cebu City with some friends after a busy September. We went to Oslob and saw this falls and had swimming with the whale shark and had a wonderful relaxing time exploring sumilon island.

We only had like 15 minutes in this falls. Its so beautiful the water was so clear and cold, so refreshing and ohh the green surroundings just so beautiful in my eyes. I really wanted to stay more longer but we are late to our next destination. It was fun going down here in this falls because we rode a motorcycle, haha its way scary but fun. Below are the photos :) Enjoy
Tumalog Falls - Oslob, Cebu City
How to get there from Cebu city? Ride a Ceres bus bound for Bato – Oslob. Just tell the driver or bus conductor that you are heading to Tumalog Falls and they will drop you off at the junction where you can see a signage, “Tumalog Water Falls”. Travel time is around 3 hours. You can ride a habal-habal on the way up from the main road. It’s a 20-minute ride to the drop-off point. But I suggest before going to tumalog you should go first to the Whale Shark watching and from there you can hire a habal-habal to tumalog.
Tumalog Falls from afar!

For the last 5 photos, i am using this GoPro Hero 5. GoPro is really a big help for our adventure, either water or land adventure :) :) it is the best!
