Victoria Harbour- Hong Kong

Since young I've been dreaming of going outside of my country, but for me who live in the province of Bohol and only the source of income was farming and the earnings was just really enough for our daily living, so means going even to our only City the City of Tagbilaran was just impossible then how much more going outside the country? Ahmmm yeah, for my 14 years of living bohol i can only count on my two hands how many times i went to our city, and going there is really a big deal and its like a big treat to us.Why 14 years? its because i leave Bohol when i was 14 years old and went to Bacolod City to pursue my study.

Fast forward, through determination and perseverance, i managed to finished my college study all by myself. Working student, fastfood service crew etc. A year after graduating college,i went here in Manila (2010) to look for a job. Got lucky to been employed in just a month. I promised to save for my travels but saving is really so hard as my family depends on me, i have an obligation to send an amount to them every pay day, but still i saved a little. Until years passed by a DREAM just came into reality. I cant believed it. I made it. I made it to Hong Kong. Well for me who thinks going outside of the country is impossible, so being there in Hong Kong was just beyond amazing. I am so proud of myself you know.

The first place we visit was this Harbour. It's almost midnight when we arrived in Hong Kong and we stayed there till dawn. Just too bad because i never got a chance to see it during day time in our 2 days stay, supposed to be 3 days but we spent our 1 day in Macau.

It was my first out of the country trip so it was so memorable, and i will never forget it, how i felt i was so happy and i want to cry for joy, hahaha. Below are the photos i took during our first night and last night in Hong Kong. As usual I only used my phone in taking pictures so it really don't give justice to this place!

PS. This was all happened way back November 2015, I know, I know this is really a late post.I supposed to be posting about singapore because i supposed to have a trip to Singapore last july 2016, I already have tickets and everything but just tooooo bad, really bad. For some reasons i did not made it to the airport on time, I was so sad i was left behind by the plane. Lesson learned anyways!! There is always a next time!

Sleeping in the Park of Hong Kong!

Its late when we arrived in Hong Kong and due to tight budget we decided not to booked an accommodation for that night. Since it was our first time out of our country, we were so eager to get out of the airport even though the plan is to stay in the airport till morning so we can take a nap. To make the story short we bought an octopos card and a map and took a bus to Tsim Sha Tsui. Thats the place were we booked our accommodation for the succeeding night. We get off at Nathan Road and just walk and walk till we got so thirsty even though its cold that night, we then saw a 7-Eleven so we bought a water which cost double the price.

Its almost dawn when we felt so tired and so cold so we managed to look for a place to sat down. We found a park near to Avenue of Stars (repair was on going) where there are many people hanging out there, a group of friends, a lovers and a homeless, so we settle in a like cart thing where theres a tree and a fake bermuda grass and we lay down. Some foreign people passing by were staring at us but who cares, WE DONT KNOW THEM AND THEY DONT KNOW US! hahahaha

Well we enjoy the night and no time was wasted.

Hong Kong, November 2015

Hong Kong is my very first international flight, being a first International Flight of-course im so excited but nervous in the same time. Nervous because of what's on my mind, negative thoughts like what if the immigration won't allow me to leave philippines, what if like this like that, you know first time, hahaha
But thanks God i feel relieved when i was already in the boarding area waiting for the gate to open to board the plane. YAY :)

a side of me, "kalurky" :P :P
We arrived late. Upon arriving in HK we bought an Octopus ticket as many people said its the first thing to do before leaving the airport!
You know when first time in a place, take pictures in every thing i see, i feel like a child seeing this kind of transportation that they have a bus with a second floor. We directly go the the 2nd floor to see the streets of HK well. (happy kids at heart)

The address of the hostel we are going to stay is in Tsim Sha Tsui in Nathan Road, so we went there to check even though were not going to check in yet as we only booked for the next day because our arrival in HK was late at night and its a waste of HKD if we booked that night too. We went there to see and to know where it is located, after we found the hostel, we looked a place to stay the whole night and we found a spot in front of Sheraton Hotel, between Space Museum and Museum of Art to be exact. There's a mini park there and there are a lot of people roaming around, some are lovers and some are homeless i guess as they slept in the chairs over there, we seems like homeless too hahaha. We roamed around that area and take pictures even though its dark. (The Avenue of Stars was closed for renovation :(  hihi)

The next day as soon as the sun about to shine we went to Disneyland, its just so funny as our phones was lowbat and we never find an outlet to charged, so even though no phones means no pictures we still went there because we dont want to waste our time. We arrived Disneyland so early as 7am of-course it was still closed as it will open at 10am, and since we dont have slept yet, we cant wait till 10am, super tired. We only took pictures in the entrance using my friend's camera that about to lowbat also and went to the hotel, we dont go inside just outside taking pictures until the battery was drained and then we went back to Tsim Sha Tsui.

This pictures taken on our last night in HK, so i take pictures as many as i can, to be honest i have a thousand of pictures on my phone hahaha

I heart Panda :) Panda art Exhibit in front of 1881 heritage :)
Went to Temple Street for the Night Market we just walk as we dont know what bus were going to take haha is okay though as i got the chance to take pictures of HK streets view lelz

I have a lots of pictures stored in my phone but i cant put it all in here haha. Memories are still fresh on my mind. I will cherish this forever. Hoping for another International Trips. Crossing Fingers and Toes Hahahaha

The Peak, Hong Kong

Spot this building when u get off from Central Station,if u see it then you are in your right way to The Peak Tram.
Before heading to The Peak Tram, we went to St. John's Cathedral and said a prayers :)
After St. John there's a mini park beside the church, we take some pics.
The Peak Tram

Here's the view from the Peak :) Enjoy!!

It was our last day in Hong Kong so we make the most of it, we went to The Peak Tram, Victoria Peak. It was awesome, the feeling when you are in the top of the world, hihihi its so windy but its okay, we enjoy the view a lot. You see the entire City. I was amazed how many buildings, houses at the top of the mountain, how they get there? technology..technology, i know :D
When you look up to the Sky Terrace building, it seems so scary lol.
