7 REASONS WHY LONDON IS A MUST VISIT

Head to the UK and you'll likely be visiting London -  after all, it is the country's capital city. However, if you're struggling to find a reason to head there, let us guide you. Here are just seven reasons why a visit to London should be at the top of your bucket list.

1. IT'S STEEPED IN HISTORY
There's simply no denying just how historically rich London is as a city. Despite modern advancements being evident throughout, such as the ever-improving underground system and the towering skyscrapers popping up constantly, there's still so much heritage to discover.
Whether it's the iconic, long standing landmarks such as St. Paul's Cathedral or Nelson's Column, or several museums and galleries to explore within the city, you'll notice just how prevalent London's history is still to this day.

2. THERE'S SIMPLY SO MUCH TO DO
No matter how long you're in London for, it's simply impossible to get bored at any point. That's because there's just so much to do in this bustling, wondrous city- whether you want to stroll through the streets and take in the constantly impressive surroundings, or if you're seeking a busy, energetic stay, London can offer both in abundance.
1Cover recommends visiting museums with the family, and London offers two of the world's best - the Science and Natural History Museums- both with free admission. If you're a solo traveller, be sure to visit all of the sights, including the London Eye. Reaching a height of nearly 450 feet, you'll get panoramas of the surrounding city that will make for a perfect addition to your Instagram.

3. YOU'LL FIND A PERFECT BALANCE OF OLD AND THE NEW
As previously mentioned, there's a wealth of history to be found in London, but the juxtaposition of the old and new in the city makes for one of the most unique experiences in the world. As this post says, it's "an electric mix of old and new, traditional and modern, past and present in unexpected ways." Walk near the iconic Tower Bridge, for example, and you'll see the unique slanted Town Hall nearby, with its off-kilter glass facade proving just how varied yet beautiful London's architecture can be.

4. THE FOOD IS UNPARALLELED
There is simply no denying how delectable and diverse London's cuisine truly is. Sure, you'll find an abundance of familiar restaurants throughout the city- but the true standouts are the hidden treasures you stumble across. Head to CHINATOWN, for example (just off Leicester Square), and you'll be greeted with some of the most authentic and fragrant Chinese dishes in the entire country.
And Camden's street food is a particular highlight both with tourist and locals, the scents of different foods coming together in the marketplace for one of the most alluring and tantalizing experience in the city.

5. LONDON'S NIGHTLIFE IS CONSTANTLY BUZZING
For one of the most inclusive, safe and welcoming nights out you'll perhaps ever have, London is your best bet. Soho is one of the most buzzing and energetic districts in the city during night, with LGBT clubs welcoming anyone and everyone through their doors for a night full of love and positivity. And the bigger, more iconic clubs are just as fun. Fabric and Ministry of Sound, despite their controversies, remain some of the best and busiest establishments in not only London, but the entire country.

6. THERE'S SOME UNEXPECTED HIDDEN TREASURES TO DISCOVER
Take a casual stroll through London and you're guaranteed to stumble across an unexpected hidden treasure. flourishing green spaces hidden between tall office blocks provide quite getaway from the bustle of the city. Small boutique stores and quirky restaurants await you in every streets, beckoning for you to come and explore. Consider visiting areas such as Shoreditch and Camden for the best opportunities to discover your own personal pleasures. Places such as The Breakfast Club are well reviewed and, despite their growing popularity, still provide an interesting experience
many tourists are yet to discover.

7. IT'S WITHOUT A DOUBT BRITAIN'S BEST CITY
Although some may argue against it, there's simply no denying - London is absolutely the best city in the country. It's unparalleled by anywhere else, simply because it is so big and full of things to do in each and every part of it. There's no helping it - you will fall in love with this big and beautiful city whether you want to or not.

A Day Tour in London

It's always been a dream of mine to see London personally, the BIG BENLONDON EYETOWER BRIDGE, and many more, so basically being there such a really big time dream come true! I am very blessed, and thankful to our God, thank you Lord! Thank you also to my loves!

We came from Bicester, and we took train from Bicester Village to Marylebone Station, it was more than an hour ride, my first train in UK too. It was awesome seems like you were in an airplane, comfy seats :D

We got the BIG BUS HOP-ON HOP-OFF thing, just basically we are going to Hop On and Hop off to the place we wanted to be. From Marylebone Station we just went to the nearest Bus Stop of the Bus Tour and verified our tickets and before we know it we are already in the open top of the second floor of the BIG BUS.

Our plan was to just do sightseeing first, we are not going to hop off till all the destinations done, but sad to say that time was traffic and the bus is so slow and we dont have enough time, I enjoy doing the sightseeing even though its freezing cold for me, my hands get numb but i dont care i want to take photos hihihi. Everything was so beautiful for me, the streets, the buildings etc. OMG I am definitely a big fan of LONDON or may i say the whole UK haha.

When we passed the BIG BEN, my jaw dropped and i had hard time fixing it lol hahaha, mygad it was so beautiful, I cant help it but to hop off in the bus, my loves agreed to hop off because it was traffic. My heart was so happy to see big ben for real!

Our next stop was the London Eye. Since it was pass 12 noon when we get there, we choose to had lunch first before going to the London Eye, there is this Famous Fish and Chips just beside the Eye. The food was expensive and the taste just so-so. After lunch we went there, but the line was too long and maybe it will take an hour to get a ride, so :( :( we go back to the other side and took the City Cruise to the Tower of London where the Tower Bridge located, but first here is the London Eye.

The City Cruises was included in the the BIG BUS ticket. It was fun having cruise in London in Thames River, (please correct me if I am wrong) where you can see side by side views hehe. Next stop was The London Tower and the Tower Bridge. Its great to know and to see the history from the past. We purchase entrance ticket and went inside the tower. It was great, we went to the Crown Jewels, white tower, blood tower, etc. After the The Tower tour we went fast to The Tower Bridge. Its 4pm but it seems like 6pm in the Philippines, its getting dark. Another entrance to the Tower Bridge as we went up to the glass floor. Ahhm its just so-so also but at least we try. Since we paid for it then we were allowed to see engine room.. wow the machines they used are so huge, the one they used when there is a big ship coming they open the bridge. Well my phone died, so no more photos there huhuhu..
Below are the photos of the The London Tower, The Tower Bridge, City Cruises, and the views while cruising!

Some photos of The London Tower Bridge is not mine, its from his previous trip, where the bridge isnt close yet. :) :) :)

Street Photos:

We are still planning in going back to London, there are a lot of things and places to see that we dont see during our visit. I cant wait to go back hopefully early next year :) :) :)

The London Eye

When in London, for me it is not complete without having a photo of London Eye. I was talking about the Tower Bridge from my previous post and this post is the continuation :) :) :)

It was really beautiful, everything in London for me is beautiful I am just in love with this place. Ohh how i wish to stay here, but this place is really expensive. So many places to go but so limited time. We really enjoyed our day tour. Until now i cant believe i was there. I still wish to go back if we have more time again.

We want to ride in this London Eye, but really lot of people are waiting in line, and we have so much thing to do, waiting for an hour for us was a waste of time, so instead we go into the cruise. It was fun, a lot of beautiful things and scenery to see while cruising.

This was really a bigtime dream come true to me. It was really cold my hands get numb most of the time, as i always take off my gloves because my phone wont function with gloves and i want to take a lot of photos. I was wearing two shirts and a coat, two pants and two socks lol still i get so cold. Im not used to of the weather, but it never bother as i enjoy the view hahaha

The good thing about this tour was we got the chance to see this beautiful scenery on day time and night time. <3 <3 <3
