Chocolate Hills, Philippines

CHOCOLATE HILLS
You maybe wondering why is it called as Chocolate when its clearly a green hills. Well these hills will turn into brown or chocolate like during summer time. During our visit just recently first week of October it was raining, and during this month summer is over, its a rainy season so the grass and trees are blooming and so green, still beautiful though. Actually it was raining when we went there, it was a fine day when we arrive, we even do the ATV or Buggy and after ATV we went to the viewing deck of Chocolate Hills, it was scorching hot. But when we are about to leave the sky get dark and when we arrive in the tarsier, it was raining so hard and tarsiers hiding :( we didn't clearly see tarsier. We left sad hehe and when we arrive in the manmade forest, it was so dark and its raining so hard. We dont have picture of manmade also :( so sad.

Anyways i am really from here, from Bohol. I was born and raised in Carmen Bohol where the Chocolate Hills located, but it was a long time since the last time I was here. I left Bohol after high school graduation to pursue my dreams. I only go back here once in a blue moon hahaha once a year or once every two years. I was so happy to be back here together with my husband and his friend and now my friends too :D :D :) It brings back memories, childhood memories and i was glad that my since birth BFF come to choco to see us.

Its my pleasure to share with you one of Bohol's beautiful tourist attraction, one of Bohol's Gem the CHOCOLATE HILLS. See the photos below :) :)

A Stopover in Shiphaus, Batuan Bohol

this photo is from google, the rest is mine :)

Last summer we went home in our province for a little vacation, and since it was just once a year opportunity we make sure to made memories worth treasuring for. We met up with an old friends (highschool friends) and just roamed around, like anywhere everywhere, its once in a blue moon oppurtunity to be together since we have different lives now. I mean unlike during high school days we went into same school and go home in a same barangay or town, and now, the other one live in Cebu and Manila and some have families and some are still single.

This is a late post anyway this was happened a months ago same date here Duangon Spring, Bilar Bohol its just an hour stopover, but it was great since it was our first time there. We're from Duangon Spring and in our way home to Carmen Bohol we had stopover in this shiphouse in Batuan Bohol. The ShipHaus is one of Bohol's tourist attractions located in Poblacion Norte, Batuan. It is shaped like a shipping vessel, It is a house owned by Capt Gaudencio Dumapias, a native of Batuan who became a successful mariner. The house was opened in late 2011 to local and foreign tourists to showcase the culture of Batuan.

Hilltop 360 View Park

Hilltop 360 View Park is located in La Victoria Carmen, Bohol, one of the new tourist attractions in our town. Before I go home for a 10days vacation, i already saw pics of this hilltop on my facebook friends post from Bohol also, and i said it to myself, im gonna visit this Park.
The day after i arrived i talked to my cousins from manila also about this park and we agreed to go here with our tita, and nieces and nephews  from Carmen but never been here, We rent a tricycle and here it is, hehehe were here, for me it was just ordinary since i grew up in this place with mountains, but to my cousins who's first time here they were all in awe to see this beauty, but for me still the #ChocolateHills view is the best!!
What i like is, this place is not crowded, if u want to relax, have peace of mind and spend a quality time with friends, family, love one's..well this is the perfect place for you!
The best time to visit is from 3pm onwards who's not that too hot, and watch the sun set or when u stay overnight and watch the sun rise in the morning!
You can do horseback riding at the bottom of the mountain and fishing in their pond.
The road isnt that developed yet from the highway to the park, distance is approximately 500m, so we get off from tricycle and walk, its fun u know :)

This is what we saw as we reached the top of the hill, its soothing and so much relaxing with the green surroundings!

Row's of mango trees :)
Sun cant barely came out due to thick clouds from lil rain earlier that day!

that kalapati (pigeon) is one of the attraction in the park
 Picture..picture :)

the view :)

When we go home its already 6.30pm its a lil dark but thanks to the bright big moon who light up our way :) It was really fun to bond with cousins and relatives, i definitely wanna go back here, maybe next year again :)
