Bath is a town set in the rolling countryside of southwest England, known for its natural hot springs and 18th-century Georgian architecture. Honey-coloured Bath stone has been used extensively in the town’s architecture, including at Bath Abbey, noted for its fan-vaulting, tower and large stained-glass windows. The museum at the site of the original Roman-era Baths includes The Great Bath, statues and a temple.
Founded by the Romans as a thermal spa, Bath became an important centre of the wool industry in the Middle Ages. In the 18th century, under George III, it developed into an elegant town with neoclassical Palladian buildings, which blend harmoniously with the Roman baths.
I know my photos does not give justice to how beautiful the City of Bath is. I am only using my ASUS phone in capturing the photos. The first time I saw the buildings I was in awe, seems like all the buildings are uniformed structure. Its a beautiful city with a lots of history. Architecture is awesome!
