Katungkulan Beach Resort (Little Boracay of Cavite)

We been looking for a good beach nearby, i mean a beach with a white sand. Usually the beaches in Cavite has no white sand. A friend of friend told us about Katungkulan beach resort and its far from the city. It's called a little boracay as it has a white sand. We drove to that beach in Ternate Cavite it was a long drive but it was worth it also. The beach resort is located inside the Philippine Marine Base. I been to Boracay and now i know why it is called as Little Boracay, yeah it has a white sand and its beautiful. We supposed to just relax and just breath some fresh air. We dont bring clothes for the swimming but the water was calling and we cant resist, we went swimming and go home wet hahaha lol

The entrance fee was 100php per person and there are cottages inside, I dont know if its for free or what, nobody asked us a fee from using the cottage. Since we are not prepared we dont bring foods, good thing there are people selling foods inside the resort, its kinda expensive than usual but its okay.

After few weeks we went there again but sad to say the Beach was closed because the marines has training. So therefore before you go you have to make sure it is open, and also foreigner is not allowed inside the marine base so basically foreigner is not allowed to go to the beach.

There is a beach nearby also the Patungan Beach Resort . All i can say is the Katungkulan Beach Resort for me is beautiful than Patungan Beach Resort.

Patungan Beach Resort in Cavite

QUIET BEACH DAY IN MARAGONDON CAVITE

PLEASE NOTE*** This is not a private beach but we were fortunate enough to be the only ones there during the week because it is usually very busy on the weekend. 

Our plan was to go to Katungkulan Beach Resort or the so called Little Boracay, but we were not allowed to enter in the Marine Base because we had a foreigner with us. We end up going to the Patungan Beach in Maragondon. Before you can reach to that beach, you have to ride a little boat for a 50php per person. They offered as the cottage for 1500php but we managed bargain down to 800php (tawad skills :) :) ) You can stay overnight for an additional cost. 

The beach was okay, it does not have a white sand like the Katungkulan Beach and it is a little dirty like some trash, but it really was a beautiful cove. It was like a private beach for us because it was in the middle of the week and no one was there, only the residence who live there and maintain the beach.

Its very relaxing and scenic with warm water. If you have free time during the week and are looking for quiet, relaxing, and very scenic place to go with your family I recommend Katunglan Beach. I give it 3 out of 5 sassy stars, not perfect but worth a visit.
