Window Arch - City of Rocks Idaho

We did not expect to see this Window Arch when we went to CITY OF ROCKS in Idaho. This Arch is beautiful, I can say one of the highlights in going here. Its not that so huge Arch but its amazing how this rock shaped this way. Nature at its best. If you happened to visit here the City of Rocks, you should take a look on this Arch. Its located near camp site number 26 - 32 i guess, OMG i forgot the exact camp site but sure near that area.

We just spent half a day here, driving to every place indicated on the official map, there was little information on the different points of interest, example why does Bread Loves or Bath Rock so named? Only Register Rock and Camp Rock have some explanation about emigrants to California leaving their mark in there. This is really a great place to spend a day or two, hitting the trails, rock climbing, camping, and admiring the scenery. If you love to hike, this is the place you need to go, there's a lot of hiking and climbing in this area. Summer time is the best time to visit :)

Window Arch - City Of Rocks

We will go back here during summer to camp and do hiking and maybe rock climbing!

SCENTSY COMMONS CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Last week after we watched the Fantastic Beast in Boise, we went to Meridian to see the beautiful Christmas Lights of Scentsy Commons. It was a rainy/snowy and muddy night but seeing the lights was just so great. The lights are so beautiful. It was freezing cold so we did not stay longer. But I swear their lights are awesome. See the photos below!

tunnel of lights :)

This place is worth the visit.

FIRST SNOW FALL

Last week we had the first snow fall. It was a lot that until now theres still a lot of snow even though its been five sunny days since the snow. Yeah its so sunny but its still cold. Some of the snow that melts became an ice. Last night we had -11 Degree Celsius. It was so cold.

Well this is not my first snow because my first snow experienced was in the UNITED KINGDOM but still i got excited when i see the ground all white. I still play in the snow until my hands get numb. That feeling when you open the window and all you see is all white ground full of snow. Its beautiful but its so cold. hahaha This is the time of the year that you wished you were in the tropical country in a beach and chilling hahaha

The photos below were taken since the first day of snow til yesterday. The beauty of snow is exceptional. I love it!

When I was still in the Philippines, everytime i saw snow in the movie i fell like OMG one day i can experience that. Wondering how cold it is. Here i am now feeling the cold and the snow. hahaha

CITY OF ROCKS IDAHO

The City of Rocks National Reserve, also known as the Silent City of Rocks, is a United States National Reserve and state park lying 2 miles (3.2 km) north of the south central Idaho border with Utah. It is widely known for its excellent rock climbing and rock formations.
The rock spires in the City of Rocks and adjacent Castle Rocks State Park are largely composed of granitic rock of the Oligocene Almo pluton and Archean Green Creek Complex.
The City of Rocks is a popular rock climbing area, with over 1,000 traditional and bolt-protected routes. In the 1980s, it was home to some of the most difficult routes in the US, mostly developed by Idaho climber Tony Yaniro. Climbers in the region refer to the area as simply 'The City'.
California Trail wagon trains of the 1840s and 1850s left the Raft River valley and traveled through the area and over Granite Pass into Nevada. Names or initials of emigrants written in axle grease are still visible on Register Rock. Ruts from wagon wheels also can be seen in some of the rocks. (Source: Wikipedia)
Last week, we went to this beautiful City of Rocks, it was like three hours drive from home. It was a cold day but we were blessed with a beautiful sun that shine so bright that day :). The park was closed i mean the visitor area because it was off season, its winter already. It is only open during summer, for campers and rock climbers and any kind of adventure visitor would like to do hehe. Even though its off season we still went there. There are only like four people i saw in the area that day.
Ohhh i love nature so much and that City of Rocks is beautiful, i can stay there all day, if only its not cold We definitely do camping there. We for sure go back during summer so we can camp and stay for like two nights. It was a huge area to explore, one day is not enough, all i want to do is to climbed in the big rocks hahaha

LAS VEGAS STRIP

It was my first time to go to Las Vegas. I am so excited when i knew that we're going there. I heard a lot about Las Vegas. I saw a lot of movies, shows, ads etc that was filmed in Las Vegas.

When we arrived there, I was excited to roamed around and see the strip during night. It was so tiring, a lot of people, traffic, big big hotels and casinos. To be honest i dont like to be in the busy city but hey its not everyday. I live in a small town in Idaho and its so so quiet here. Its nice to be out once in a while.

We seems never rest during day time, we are always outside. Seeing the beautiful hotels, exploring the casino hahaha. Seems like one day is not enough to explore one hotel, specially the Caesars Palace, for me its so huge. I dont think so i wanna go back there but maybe. :) I want to explore more State here in the US.

During our Helicopter Ride

Las Vegas is such a beautiful booming city :) :)

Beautiful Sunset

Today is another day and another beautiful sunset. I was biking around when i saw this beautiful sunset. Its not everyday you can have a beautiful sunset like this.

What a beautiful creation from above :) :)

Hoover Dam

I only saw this Dam on Movie before, and now finally see it with my own eyes. It was such a hardwork to build this dam. It was beautiful, we got the chance to go down so deep under where the big machines at. It was scary but its nice to see it.

Hoover Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, on the border between the U.S. states of Nevada and Arizona. It was constructed between 1931 and 1936 during the Great Depression and was dedicated on September 30, 1935, by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. (Wiki)
